I dont think RNH is that good. Id rather do a 1 for 1 and ask for Taylor Hall or Eberle. |

Ian Esplen: Schneider and Miller
deal/ - IanEsplen
I'm not a Dreger fan at all, but its not only him saying these things. Gillis is going to (frank) this up even worse than it is when CS gets pissed at all this.
What a mess. Just buy out Lou and be done with it....
And your trade scenario is just so (frank)ing bad...Are you really Scooby-doo??

The asking price better be astro(frank)ingnomical. |

Ian Esplen: Schneider and Miller
deal/ - IanEsplen
"Vancouver viewed Schneider as a superstar and that it would take another superstar to trade him"
The problem with this Ian is how does the rest of the league view Schneider? Do you really think they view them as a superstar? |

Funny that you should even have to state that. |

To trade him in their own division it would take a superstar player. |

So basically the asking price for Schneider is about the same as it was for Luongo when he first went up on the block.......... that sounds about right. |

I get what you're saying, but was the quote from the past trade deadline.
whether you other other teams for that matter agree is not really up for debate. Vancouver views Schneider in the same way that Giroux is viewed in Philly or Stamkos in Tampa. |

No, it's higher.
Luongo was a first, a roster player and a prospect.
Schnieder is another star player. |

Still whining about Dreger I see. Pierre LeBrun also reported it if that helps. And they never claimed to hear it from Vancouver but other teams. Not saying it's true but this Dreger crying is getting ridiculous. |

See that's where you are once again VERY wrong. Philly and Tampa would never drag those players names through this sort of poopty rumour mill. You don't think it has an effect on these guys to hear their names being mentioned time after time?
Vancouver has brought this mess on themselves and are continuing to make it worse. |

Don't blame Dreger. Gillis is a (frank)ing numpty and he (frank)ed the Luongo situation and now he's like a chicken with his head cut off running around trying to figure out how to make this new thing called a salary cap work without getting himself fired, which hopefully happens anyway. |

Sure doesn't seem that way. TB bought out Lecavalier (just like we SHOULD buy out Luongo) because Stamkos is much more important.
Imagine if they had said - "(frank) it, we don't want to buy out LeCavalier... We can trade Stamkos to surround LeCavalier with more talent."
Ugh... |

Nugent-Hopkins straight up for Schneider is too much....and you think the Oiler have to include their first? You are a hack!! You overvalue Luongo and his horrible contract and are acting like Schneider is the second coming of Martin Brodeur or Patrick Roy in their prime.
Now that I got that off my chest I think it is a smart move for the Canucks to trade Schneider. There is no market for Luongo and his contract and the buyout would be horrible. I can see them getting something like Gagner and a 2nd Rd. pick from the Oilers |

So the demands for a goalie who's never won anything is the biggest haul that's ever been seen via a trade for a goalie........
I guess there is always a first time. Why can't it be for the canucks right? |
